Components
Listed below are the three basic components of e-commerce. Together they provide the ability to: prepare an online catalog of products, allow customers to purchase products and pay for them using a major credit card, and allow the administration of the product catalog and payment transactions. The shopping cart and payment services require advanced site design skills and are intended for advanced webmasters or site designers.

• Merchant account: Provides your authorization to accept credit cards and provides a mechanism to deposit credit card payments into your checking account.
• Payment service: A transaction system or "gateway" that takes care of authorizing funds and storing transaction data securely. The payment service is the merchant's primary interface for managing approvals, credits, refunds, etc.
• Shopping cart: Simplifies administration of product catalogs and provides the customer with a means to view and collect various products together and pay for them all at once.

Turnkey Solutions
Turnkey solutions provide a complete, ready-to-use, package of e-commerce components including merchant account, payment service, shopping cart and secured Web site.
